Yak Grips

Just slide a pair of Yakgrips onto the shaft of your paddle and experience all day comfort while paddling. These comfort paddle grips have the cushiest feel and follow the actual curve of your hands to reduce fatigue, prevent blisters and calluses. Yak grips ease the pressure on your palms and tendons of your hands so you can get a good grip on your paddle for more efficient paddling. You'll appreciate them even more for those aggressive bouts of paddling. Yakgrips are easy to install. For 2-piece paddles just wet the inside of the Yakgrips and slide on. The inner gripping design will keep them where you put them. If you want to remove them put some water under them and on the paddle shaft and pull them off. For one-piece paddles a Velcro version is available. Yakgrips can be left on ready for your next journey.

We've always had folks wanting the self bailing open cockpit of a sit-on-top style kayak - but just couldn't stomach the weight. With most sit on tops in the 65lb range, it is a breath of fresh air to offer the Phoenix 120 at only 37lbs. Also the slick, smooth finish of the boat makes it glide through the water amazingly easily.

Tampico 140

Native Watercraft now in stock at P&P

There's an emerging new kayak line in the industry that is really starting to take off in our area. Now, it's in stock at Pack and Paddle! Native Watercraft is a line of sit on top and hybrid kayaks with some unique features. Shown above is the Native Ultimate. This kayak is designed from the ground up to be a super-stable, but fast paddling boat that provides a great fishing platform. It differs from the normal crop of sit-on-tops in several ways. First, it features a tunnel hull design that places extra volume along the edges of the boat for rock solid stability. Next, they add the MOST COMFORTABLE seat in the industry. The seat can be removed and used on the shore when you are taking breaks. Lots of space inside the boat (instead of inside of hatches) allows you to easily access your gear. What makes the Ultimate a great fishing boat also makes it a great boat for photographers, birders and day touring paddlers as well.
