We're excited to let you know that we are now stocking the Shimano Livewell bag and pump assembly. This unique product allows you to keep live bait living much longer by circulating fresh water to the bag. The bag also has 4 spots sewn on for rod holders (plastic rod holder parts sold separately) and a large front pocket for tools and gear. The bag is insulated if you would like to keep your bait cool with a frozen water bottle or if you want to just use it as a soft cooler.

I purchased the Shimano Livewell for my tandem kayak Thanksgiving week of 2010. It functioned fine, except it weighs too much for two guys in a tandem. With water circulating, the Shimano weighs nearly 120 pounds. Floatation and stability was marginal in protected waters; on an open bay, we might have capsized.
