This 1.5 ounce stove is designed and hand built by Gerald "Pops" Istre. Pops (his trail name) hiked the entire Appalachian Trail (Southbound) in 2005/2006. During his 5 month hike he used an alcohol stove similar to the one you see here. Since his trip he's spent some of his spare time testing and perfecting the design of his stove.
